watashi wa chris desu.i arrived in gunma ken about two weeks ago now and am loving every minute of it. i am living in a log cabbin surrounded by the japanese alps and its amazing.the trees are just turning fron the green they were when i arrived to what will eventually be deep reds and oranges.the work i`m doing here is learning to build log cabbins to fit in the the natural landscape, which is very interesting and rewarding.in my spare time i am trying to learn japanese, taking lots of photo`s and playing with the host`s childeren which can be as hard as the log cabbin work!
